This page provides general terms for using this website and registering for courses. It is not a substitute for the physical liability waiver you will be asked to sign in person before any in-water or hands-on training begins.
By using this website or registering for a course offered by LifeFirst Training ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this site or register for a course.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site or enrollment in a course after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Submitting the inquiry form on this site does not guarantee a reserved seat in a course. A seat is only confirmed once payment has been received and you have received written confirmation from us.
Course fees are due at the time of registration unless otherwise arranged in writing. Fees listed on this site are subject to change without notice until a registration is confirmed.
Certification (including but not limited to Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard, Basic First Aid, Intermediate First Aid, and related recertifications) is awarded only upon successful completion of all required skill evaluations and written examinations. Attendance or payment alone does not guarantee certification.
Certifications are issued in accordance with the standards of the certifying body (e.g., the Lifesaving Society) and are subject to their policies, not ours alone.
Courses offered by LifeFirst Training involve physical activity, including but not limited to swimming, water rescue simulations, CPR practice, and first aid scenario training. These activities carry an inherent risk of injury.
By registering for and attending a course, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Prior to participating in any in-person or in-water training, you will be required to review and sign a separate liability waiver specific to that course.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifeFirst Training, its instructors, and affiliated staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in a course, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
When you submit an inquiry or registration form on this site, we collect the information you provide directly, which may include your name, email address, phone number, course of interest, and any message details you choose to share.
Form submissions are processed through our website hosting provider's form-handling service. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
